If you are going to Brussel, here is a tip for a visit that is worthwhile.<\/p>\n

BERLINDE DE BRUYCKERE at BOZAR<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bozar-Brussels is presenting a solo exhibition by artist Berlinde De Bruyckere under the title \u201cKhor\u00f3s\".<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The title refers to the songs of a choir between epeisodia in Greek tragedies.<\/p>\n

Berlinde De Bruyckere's work has an international appeal and was recently shown in Venice.\u00a0 It possesses a very unique character, captured in an extremely personal design.<\/p>\n

It radiates strength and vulnerability at the same time; cruelty and tender compassion at the same time.\u00a0 It deals with life, love and death (eros and thanatos).<\/p>\n

In its uniqueness it touches and makes one wonder.\u00a0 It makes you think and feel.<\/p>\n

Berlinde De Bruyckere is inspired by mythological and Christian iconography and by grand masters such as Lucas Cranach.<\/p>\n

In the exhibition, she dialogues with Pier Paolo Pasolini and American punk poet Patti Smith; with photographers Peter Buggenhout and Myriam De Vriendt.<\/p>\n
