She was a free-spirited woman who found her own path within the avant-garde with her cubist and abstract style.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition also features work by her partner, the Ukrainian sculptor Alexander Archipenko.\u00a0 Artist friends are also represented, including Mondrian and Modigliano.<\/p>\n<p>The artist also played a role in the newly founded art circle, La Section d'Or.<\/p>\n<p>At the KMSKA until 11 January 2026<\/p>\n<p>If you are visiting Mons, \u00a0here is a recommendation for a worthwhile visit.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>LE CHANT DE LA TERRE - DAVID HOCKNEY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The CAP\/Museum of Fine Arts in Mons is hosting an exhibition dedicated to the work of artist David Hockney (born 1937), entitled Le Chant de la terre.<\/p>\n<p>It highlights the artist's favourite themes: the eternal cycle of life, the beauty of nature and the seasons, human loneliness and melancholy: an aesthetic and spiritual journey.<\/p>\n<p>It combines painting, music and poetry.
