GOYA'S GRAPHICS IN DE REEDE - ANTWERP<\/strong><\/p>\n

A number of exhibitions are being organised as part of EUROPALIA SPAIN.<\/p>\n

In addition to the exhibition \u201cLuz y Sombra - Spanish Realism\u201d at Bozar Brussels, a visit to the Museum De Reede in Antwerp is also highly recommended.<\/p>\n

The museum has an extensive collection of graphic artists, including Edvard Munch, F\u00e9licien Rops and Francisco Goya (1746 - 1828).<\/p>\n

The exhibition presents an extensive series of prints by the Spanish master: from Los Caprichos, Los Disparates, La Tauromaqu\u00eda and Los Desastres de la Guerra.<\/p>\n

This is a unique opportunity to discover the prints in which Goya offers his view of his time and the society in which he lived; a particularly critical view of the misery caused by war and all kinds of abuses.<\/p>\n
