Since 1973, the year our association was founded, we have been able to count on the support of people who hold art dear to their hearts. In our 53rd year of operation, our non-profit organisation Kunst in de Stad still wants to bring art to the people, based on our conviction that art enriches, inspires and connects, but also because art is simply beautiful in our city.
To date, Kunst in de Stad has installed 58 sculptures in squares, parks and streets... even in the cemetery. Our sculptures have become an integral part of the streetscape, and yet we are already working on the next one. It remains a mission that is never completely finished.
We would like to be able to count on your support for future projects.
With your membership fee of €25, you will once again contribute to an inspiring, creative environment throughout Sint-Niklaas. What's more, you'll enjoy exclusive benefits such as invitations to exhibitions, excursions, guided tours and meetings with artists. You'll also receive a free “Friends of MAP” membership. This gives members of the non-profit organisation Kunst in de Stad free access to all MAP museums in 2026, free participation in MAP Talks and a nocturne for “Friends of MAP”. .
