If you are visiting Brussels, here is a recommendation for a worthwhile visit.
BRUTTEZZA e BELLEZZA at BOZAR - Brussels
The exhibition “Bruttezza e Bellezza” showcases artists from the 15th and 16th centuries from Italy and Northern Europe.
The aim is to highlight two contrasting elements in art: “the ideal of beauty and deliberate ugliness”.
Works from various museums are on display: Botticelli, Titian, Tintoretto, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Cranach, Dürer, Matsijs and others.
Some of the works are on display in Belgium for the first time.
At Bozar until the 14th of June 2026, from 10 am to 6 pm. Closed on Mondays.
