Dear Art Lover,
If you are visiting Brussels, here is a recommendation for a worthwhile visit.
RENÉ MAGRITTE'S HOUSE
In addition to the Magritte Museum on Place Royale in Brussels, a visit to René Magritte's house in Jette is definitely worthwhile.
The surrealist artist lived and worked there for 24 years (from 1930 to 1954). As a result, the house has a very special atmosphere.
The house was also the headquarters of the Belgian surrealists.
Adjacent to the house is the ‘Abstract Museum’, which represents several generations of abstract artists:
the historical avant-garde of around 1920 and the second generation, including Alechinsky and Delahaut.
Esseghemstraat 135 - Jette
