RAVEEL IN THE CASTLE OF BEERVELDE
A unique experience offers a visit to the castle of Count de Kerchove de Denterghem in Beervelde.
In the basement of the castle, artist Roger Raveel (1921- 2013) was working there in 1966 together with painters Etienne Elias and Reinier Lucassen.
The main work offers a reference to the altarpiece of the Mystic Lamb by Van Eyck.
A walk in the park of the castle is a nice complement to the visit to Raveel.
