Michaël Borremans - A Confrontation at the Zoo
From November 30, 2024 to March 23, 2025, an extensive exhibition by artist Michaël Borremans: 'A Confrontation at the Zoo' will be on display at Museum Voorlinden in Wassenaar - The Hague.
The exhibition brings together his oeuvre of the last 20 years:
drawings, sculptures, film and photography; a large number of oil paintings.
Michaël Borremans (Geraardsbergen 1963) is a famous artist, one of our greats.
He applies the craftsmanship of the old masters. To the very ordinary he adds his own vision. This has an alienating and sometimes even very confrontational effect.
His art breathes a very own atmosphere and poetry.
