'WHEN WE SEE US'
Bozar - Brussels brings a remarkable exhibition of pan-African painting.
It presents work by 120 African artists in a kaleidoscope of one hundred years of figurative art from Africa: a look at everyday doings.
The main theme is “BLack Joy”: the feeling of joy, freedom and emancipation. Social and political commentary is not absent. Satire is not lacking either. The African individuality in sensing life prevails.
